The Objective/Rules of Bowls:

  1. The object of the game is to get your bowl as close as possible to the jack/kitty.
  2. Play in both directions.
  3. Place the mat on the centre line of the rink and bowl the jack/kitty to the skips at the other end. The skip will then place the jack/kitty on the centre line.
  4. Look for the smallest circle on the bowl, that is the weighted side of the bowl and the bowl will swing towards the smallest circle.
  5. All players must stand on the mat with both feet before each delivery. Players have 2 bowls each.
  6. Right handed players step out with your left foot and left handed players step out with your right foot.
