Uniforms
Wearing of club uniforms is a requirement when participating in all Bowls Tasmania South and Bowls Tasmania controlled events. BTS Uniform guideline are as follows:

Club uniform orders can be placed within the order form folders located to the right of the cafeteria window. Uniform queries can be directed to Dean Shaw.

Practice
The Claremont Bowls & Community Club encourages consistent practice and recognises it’s role in continued on-green success. Please make use of the resources available on the club’s website. To access the training documents click here.
Coaches and Umpires
There are coaching and officiating courses held by Bowls Tasmania in the South for members who would like to assist the club by gaining their accreditation. Please contact the Secretary or any board member for further details. The following link is information provided by Bowls Tasmania South.
The Claremont Bowls & Community Club has a numbered of qualified Coaches who are happy to provide coaching information and advice. Feel free to speak to any of our coaches.

If there is a possibility of cancellation of play due to inclement weather or any other occurrence, the contacts for these types of situations are;

Travel Arrangements
It’s the responsibility of players to ensure that they arrive at playing venues by the appointed time. Carpooling between players is encouraged. For longer away trips, ie Oatland, Orford, Dover, Bruny Island etc the club may arrange a bus to transport players. The cost of the bus hire will be portioned to the personnel travelling on the bus.
Duty Rink
Each week, for home games, one rink of players (top & bottom green) will be allocated the responsibility of “Duty Rink”. Duty Rink will be indicated on The Al Smith Selection Board.
Duties/responsibilities are as follows:
1. Setting up of refreshment facilities.
2. Raising/lowering of flags.
3. Deploying the umpiring trolley equipment.
4. Setting up mats/jacks for competition.
5. Returning equipment & cleaning up at the completion of play.
Duty Rink players should arrive at the club approximately one hour earlier than match start to ensure that there is sufficient time to complete the required tasks.
